David Starr Rabb


David Starr Rabb was born in Riverside, CA. Growing up in Perris, he Perris public schools and graduated from Perris High, as its co-valedictorian, in 2004.

David earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Stanford University in 2008. During his undergraduate years, he participated in the Black Student Union, Upward Bound, interned at several non-profits, and served in the US Navy Reserves.  He continued his legal education at Stanford Law School, and earned his J.D. in 2011.

After completing the California Bar Exam, he deployed with a Navy Expeditionary Unit to Newport, Rhode Island, and later to the United Arab Emirates, between August 2011 and June 2012.  He swore into the California Bar in January 2012. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in December 2013.

David is Deputy District Attorney with the County of San Bernardino where he has conducted seven jury trials and over 50 preliminary hearings.

David was elected to the Perris City Council in November 2014 and was sworn in as Riverside County’s youngest Councilmember on December 9, 2014. On the Council, he has spearheaded programs for the city’s youth, initiatives to beautify the city, and has fought for increased retail development.

Sabrina Cervantes


Sabrina Cervantes is the former District Director for Assemblyman Jose Medina, a founding member of the Riverside County Young Democrats and is currently a candidate for California State Assembly District 60.

Sabrina holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a minor in Public Policy from the University of California, Riverside and completed an executive education program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

In the past, Sabrina served as a Director for the California Voter Registration Project, where she spearheaded strategic planning for field operations to register new voters and increase civic engagement throughout the state. 

Sabrina currently serves on the Board of Directors for the UCR Chicano Latino Alumni Association (CLA) and the non-profit organization, TruEvolution.  She is also a member of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), and the PICK Group of Young Professionals.


Jacob Daruvala


Jacob Daruvala is a founding member of the Riverside County Young Democrats, one of the most active and youngest political and social activists in Riverside County and a campaign and Democratic organizer for district-wide and national campaigns.

Jacob is also a founder and board member of America’s Youth PAC, contributor to Young Progressive Voices and worked for Bernie Sander for President during the 2016 Democratic primaries where he traveled the country from coast to coast turning out the vote and caucusing for Senator Bernie Sanders.

Dr. Angelov Farooq


Dr. I. Angelov Farooq is a Managing Partner at The Omnius Group, a Southern California based Economic Development firm. He also serves as the Founding Director for the University of California, Riverside Center for Economic Development & Innovation (CEDI), a Lecturer at the UCR School of Business Administration and serves as a Board Member for Riverside Unified School District.

In 2013, Dr. Farooq was appointed by Governor Jerry Brown on the California Workforce Development Board. He currently serves as a member of the Green Collar Jobs Council and Increased Skills and Credentials Attainment Committee.

In 2015, Dr. Farooq was appointed by California’s Chief Financial Officer, Controller Betty Yee, on her Council of Economic Advisors to shape comprehensive tax reform process for the State. Dr. Farooq also serves as the Chief Advisor for an economic development initiative (Inland SoCal Link) between the City of Los Angeles and the Counties of Riverside/San Bernardino. 

Dr. Farooq was elected to membership of the Pacific Council on International Policy, is a member of the USC Price Athenian Society and Rotary International. He is a Founding Board Member of ExCITE Technology Incubator/Accelerator.
